Esquimalt Anglers in conjunction with Royal Canadian Marine Search and Rescue are please to announce the installation and start up of a new “ Kids Don`t Float ` station at the Esquimalt Fleming Beach Clubhouse.
The purpose of this project is to provide “ LENDER “ PFD ( personal floatation devices – life jackets ) for children to use (if they do not have any with them) when they are on or around the water. Available in three child sizes by weight in kilograms.
The PFDs will be left hanging and available 24 hours a day 7 days a week on
the exterior wall of Esquimalt Anglers Clubhouse at Fleming Beach.
The intent of this project is to have PFDs available for children to wear when
they are near the water and then return them to their hanging posts at the
end of the day in preparation for other children to use them next.
